How to Create and Configure a SendGrid Email Account?
Step-by-Step guide to creating and configuring a SendGrid email account is as follows:
Step 1: Click on Settings
Step 2: Click on Communication
Step 3: Click on Email and select Create Email Account
Select Partner as SendGrid from the drop-down and click on Create
Step 4: Success message on the creation of SendGrid Account
Step 5: Click on Configure Email Account > Domain Authentication
Enter the domain (mandatory) through which communication has to be made and click on Add.
Entering the subdomain is optional and should be used in cases wherein the communication will be made through an email having a subdomain. E.g., emails will be sent using admissions@xyz.abc.com
Step 6: Email the CNAME records to the intended recipient, who will be configuring the same in the Domain's DNS records.
Step 7: (Optional) In case of Link Branding*, enter the domain which is to be used and click on Add
Step 8: Send the CNAME records for link branding to the intended recipient, who will be configuring the same in the Domain's DNS records.
Step 9: Post the CNAME has been configured in the DNS for Domain Authentication, click on Verify

Choose Email

Click on Configure Email Account
In case post the verification, you get failure as a result, that means that CNAME has not been mapped correctly, and the same needs to be rectified.
Step 10: Post the CNAME has been configured in the DNS for Link Branding, click on Verify (Settings> Communications > Email > Configure Email Account)

Step 11: Customizing Unsubscription Text
Unsubscription text can be customized, just configure the desired text (do not delete the unsubscription token) and click on Add
Voila! you are good to go, just configure the Sender Name and Sender Email Address and communicate with prospects through a personalized email address.
