Introduction
Advanced Tracking Parameters are URL parameters you can add to your ads' landing page URLs. They collect information about the source of your ad clicks and are best used when you want to customize your landing page based on these parameters.
Why are Advanced Tracking Parameters Used?
Advanced Tracking Parameters are used to track information about the source of an ad click. By adding these parameters to your ads and campaigns, you can identify if people who clicked on your ads used mobile devices, the keyword used, where they were located when they clicked your ads, and much more.
By default, Meritto's widgets and Landing Pages can capture Source, Medium, and Campaign using UTM Parameters. However, to get a deeper insight of the audience, we also have the feasibility to capture additional tracking parameters. The Advanced Tracking Template, when configured in Google Ads, helps to capture additional details in Meritto CRM.
