Understanding the Purpose of Registration Fields
Registration fields are versatile components used across the ERP system, website widgets, and registration forms. These fields help in capturing relevant data from users and leads. Here's a breakdown of key components:
- Field Name: Represents the backend name of the field. Once created, it cannot be changed.
- Label Name: This is the frontend name shown to users. It can be edited for clarity, but it will always be linked to the original field defined in the system.
- Sort Order: Determines the order in which fields appear. You can adjust the sequence based on your desired layout.
- Mandatory: When enabled, this setting makes the field compulsory. Users must fill it out to proceed with form submission.
- Hidden: Hides the field from the user view in forms but keeps it visible in the lead profile. Hidden fields are identifiable by a blue icon.
Enabling a Created Field
To enable a field that has been created:
-
Tick the checkbox beside the desired field.
-
Click the Save button to apply and save the changes within the CRM.
