Overview
As Meritto continues to evolve, so do our features designed to help you manage automations efficiently and in alignment with your plan. Whether you're just getting started or scaling rapidly, our new automation limit controls bring transparency, control, and a better user experience to every account.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s new and how it benefits you.
Plan-Based Automation Limits: Keeping It Fair and Flexible
Every subscription plan now comes with a predefined automation limit to ensure performance consistency and fair usage across clients:
Plan | Automation Limit |
Starter | 10 |
Standard | 20 |
Growth | 40 |
Pro | 60 |
Max Limit | Up to 1000* |
Note: Internal users can add extra automation beyond the default, up to a maximum threshold of 1000.
This gives our team the flexibility to accommodate special client needs while keeping a scalable baseline for everyone.
Manage Limits with Full Visibility
A new tab has been added to the Limit Management Page for managing automation caps. Here’s what it allows: Manage Account > Limit
- Add or remove automation counts for each client.
- Default plan limits cannot be reduced—Starter plan clients, for example, will always retain at least 10 automations.
- Automation usage is calculated based on all statuses: Active, Draft, Paused, Stopped, and Completed.
- For clients who’ve exceeded their limit in the past: no worries—existing automations will continue to run. However, new automations can’t be created unless limits are adjusted.
A Better Automation Listing & Creation Experience
We’ve also enhanced the Automation Listing Page and Create Automation experience to help users manage limits effortlessly.
What’s new:
- Tabs to view automations by status: Active, Draft, Pause, Completed and Stopped.
- Counts are visible per tab for quick reference.
- The Create Automation:
-
- Shows how many automations you’ve used, with a visual graph.
- Disables the Save button when limit is reached to prevent accidental overuse.
-
No more guesswork—just clear, actionable insights.
Node Limit Per Automation: Optimized Performance, Guaranteed
To ensure high performance across all workflows, we've implemented a cap on the number of action nodes allowed in a single automation.
Here’s what you need to know:
- You can add up to 300 action nodes in one automation.
- “If” and “Wait” nodes are not counted in this total.
- If you hit the limit during node creation, you’ll see an error message.
- Similarly, when copying an automation, if it exceeds the node count, the system will prevent the copy and notify you.
Why This Matters
These updates are all about giving you better control and clarity while helping Meritto scale seamlessly. With automation now playing a critical role in every customer journey, it's more important than ever to balance flexibility with system-wide reliability.
