Overview
This article explains the updated download functionality available on the Manage Exam page. It walks through candidate selection, download initiation, and tracking the request in the User Request Report.
1. Candidate Selection on Manage Exam Page
Case 1 - All data download

In case there is no selection, and the download is done directly, all the data will be downloaded.
Case 2 - Selected data download

If the data is selected via checkbox, only the selected data will be downloaded.

In case of search or filter or both are applied, only the applicable data falling in all the conditions will be downloaded.
2. Initiating Download from Bulk Actions
Step 1: Apply Filters or Search or Selection (Optional)

Apply any filters or search or selection required before downloading.
Step 2: Click on Bulk Action → Download

Under the Bulk Action button, click Download.

A request will be initiated for download generation.

A confirmation pop-up will appear, indicating the request is being processed.
- You can open the User Request Report page via the pop-up itself.
3. Tracking the Download Request
- Navigate to the User Request Report (via the link in the "Clicking here") page to monitor your request.
- There are 2 Statuses available for any download request:-
- In Progress- When the system is processing your download and preparing the files this status will be shown with the counter showing the number of data processed. You can refresh the page to check the number of data processed after frequent intervals. In case you want to cancel the download request, you can cancel the request via the option in action button while the request in "In Progress"
- Complete - When the request is completed, the status turns completed and then you can download the file from the download option in the action button.
4. Email Notification
Once you have initiated the download request, you can continue working on the system as once the download is completed:

An email alert will be sent.

Subject: “Your Exam Download Request is Ready”

Content: Mentions the download is completed, and includes the CSV download link .
Note :- Make sure the user has "Enable Request based download" Permission to view the "Download Request" page. If this permission is not enabled the user will receive the download alert mail, but not be able to view all the download requests.
