How to Enable this feature?
Step 1:
Go to User Access Control > Manage Permissions
Step 2:
Select a permission template.
Step 3:
Go to “User Manager” tuple, and find Field Force Location Tracking and enable it as per your requirement. (once you enable Field Force Location Tracking, the other dependent permissions like “Checkin/Checkout” and “Location Capture while checkin/checkout” will get automatically enabled.)
Mobile App Workflow
Assuming all configurations and permissions are enabled, the location tracking of a user will start once they Check-in, and it will stop once they Check-out. (see Check-in/Check-out article for more details)
The location capturing will work every 30 minutes when the app is running in the background.
Important: User needs to make sure that:
- “Autostart” permission is ON and
- "Battery Optimisation" is OFF for Meritto App
- A user can see his Location Capture report by going to More > View Institute Attendance > Click on any Date > View Location History.
View My Account
- When the user lands on “View Attendance” screen - he will see his own data (by default).
- If he wish to see the data of his team member, he can simply click on “Filter” icon on top right or the Name, to choose a team member.
- The data will be shown for that team member.
What is Team View?Viewing a Team’s attendance workflow remains the same. We have simply introduced a Filter in Calendar View Screen where the user can select any 1 user from his team of whose details he wants to see: Note: - By default the logged in user will see his own data - We have introduced Name in the Header. - Clicking on Name will also open the filter. Where he can change User to view data of a particular team member. - Important: No Check-in / Check-out button will be displayed on these screens when viewing someone else’s details.
Role = Counsellor; If a Counsellor only is not in any team or has the "Individual" data access No Filter will be shown CASE 2 Role = Counsellor; If a Counsellor is in a team and has the team access - Filter will be shown - He can choose any counsellors among his team CASE 3 Role = College Admin - Filter will be shown - College Admin can see all the users. - College Admin 1 can not see Attendance of College Admin 2 CASE 5 Role = College Super Admin - Filter will be shown - College Super Admin can see all College Super Admin, College Admin, Counsellors and Agents. |
Moving ahead you can see the Location history as a List view or as a Map view.
LIST VIEW:
Once “View Location History” button is clicked, list view of all location check-ins (manual and automatic) will be displayed in a timeline manner. You have an option to view it on a Map too (explained later).
- A timeline of Locations will be shown sorted by date/time in descending order
- All Locations which are captured within a distance of 500m will be merged to show the Time Spent duration. The blue bubble represents the time spent at a location with a 'From' and 'To' date/time.
- In case a location could not be fetched - “Get Location Name” will be shown. If the user taps on “Get Location Name” CTA - then the Place Name will be fetched and also be saved in the database. So if next time the user comes on this screen, location name will be shown along with latitude/longitude values.
- List View / Map View tabs are shown when “Field Force Location Tracking” feature is enabled from permissions.
MAP VIEW:
Clicking on the Map icon, will display all the location check-ins on a Google Map within the Mobile App.
Note:
- The Selected Pin will be Green in color.
When Location Permission is disabled.
- If a user has disabled his Location Permission in his device during the day (when he is already checked-in), then once he opens the app he should be able to see a prompt window wherein the app suggests to enable the Location Services Permissions.
- If the user does not open the app at all, an In-App Push Notification will be sent which will remind him to Enable Location Service.
The notification will be like:
“It seems that your Location Services are turned off. Enable them to ensure seamless working of NoPaperForms App. Or Check-out yourself from the App if you are done for the day”
Clicking it will take the user to Phone Settings > Location Permission
If a User forgets to Check-out
If the user forgets to checkout - the location tracking will continue to track them till 11:59:59PM of that day.
In this case Checkout will be handled as per the flow available in the “check-in/check-out” feature.
