How to View Lead Details on Opportunity? – Meritto

Overview

We are excited to introduce the Lead Profile Comprehensive View in the Opportunity module, designed
to empower accounts with seamless access to lead details from the Opportunity module itself. This
enhancement allows users to view and edit lead profiles directly within the Opportunity module,
eliminating the need for access to the Lead Manager. It addresses a key challenge faced by users,
ensuring they can efficiently manage lead details tied to opportunities without disruptions.

Pre-requisites

Account level permission: The account level permission should be enabled for "View Lead Details on Opportunity" and "Edit Lead Details on Opportunity".
User level permission: The user level permission should be enabled for "View Lead Details on Opportunity" and "Edit Lead Details on Opportunity".

Here is what's new

Full Lead Profile Access: Users can now view and edit lead details directly from the
Opportunity module, without requiring access to the Lead Manager.
Seamless Editing: Whether you need to update lead details or add new information, the
comprehensive view ensures quick, hassle-free updates.
Tailored for Users without Access to Lead Manager: This functionality addresses the specific
need for accounts to manage lead profiles effectively within the Opportunity module.

How to view Lead Details on Opportunity

Navigate to Opportunity > Opportunity list from the side menu.
Select the Opportunity List.
Select an Opportunity from the Opportunity List to view its detailed Opportunity Profile.
Now, Navigate to the Lead View on the Opportunity Profile to view the associated lead details.
Click on the Edit icon to change/modify the lead details from the Opportunity module.
Click the Save button to confirm and apply your changes. The same will be reflected on the Lead Profile Details.

NOTE:

The lead sections will be based on the Profile Section configuration from Manage Registration Field.
All the field configurations will be based on the Manage Registration Field configurations.

Upload type fields on the lead manager is also handled on the Lead View in Opportunity.
