Introduction
Many times we come across cases when the candidate once registered on our platform, tries to re-register on Widget or Enquiry Form. Here, we will understand the different scenarios when the same lead tries to register for your institute from various sources with different combinations of Email ID and Mobile Number.
E1: Email ID 1 (the first email ID the candidate uses)
M1: Mobile Number 1 (the first mobile no. the candidate uses)
E2: Email ID 2 (any other email ID used by the candidate)
M2: Mobile Number 2 (any other mobile number used by the candidate)
Unique Mobile Number:
Our platform offers a feature that allows you to enable registration for your institute only to leads with unique mobile numbers. If a lead attempts to register using a mobile number that already exists in your portal, an error message will be displayed during the registration process, indicating that the mobile number is already associated with an account. (These cases are mentioned below wherever they are applicable).
Lead Registration from Widget/Enquiry Form
We will see the scenarios when the candidate has already registered on the widget (or enquiry form) once and then tries to register again.
1. E1 and M1 (First Registration): When a candidate has registered with Email id: testflow@yopmail.com and mobile no: 9988779988, the lead will be registered and the entry will reflect in Lead Manager.

2. E2 and M1 (second registration): When a user registers with a different Emailid: testflowemail@yopmail.com but with the same mobile no: 9988779988 as before, the lead will be registered and entry will reflect in Lead Manager as below:

In the LM a new lead will be created but the mobile number will not be available and will reflect as "NA". This happens only when the unique mobile number is enabled for your institute.
If the unique mobile number is not enabled, then a lead will be created with the given email ID and the mobile number.
3. E1 and M2: When a user registers with the same Email ID: testflow@yopmail.com as before but with a different mobile no: 9988779968, no new lead will be created. The Mobile No. will be added as an alternate mobile number for the previous lead with Email ID: testflow@yopmail.com and mobile no: 9988779988
Lead Profile
Registration attempt date will be updated and the number will be updated in the alternate number. New Lead will not be created.
