Objective and Process of White Labelling – Meritto

Objective

Whitelabel means using your subdomain (Example: https://admission.abc.ac.in) to open the Meritto enquire/online application forms instead of https://abc.meritto.com

Why Do We Need It

Currently, once the applicant comes to our website and clicks on Apply Now, they are redirected to our landing page which is hosted on Meritto (https://abc.meritto.com).
Since the applicants will also be making payment for their application at this URL, it might be a concern for some applicants once they are redirected to a third-party URL. Once we enable the Whitelabelled solution this URL will be updated to the new link as per the subdomain (https://admission.abc.ac.in)
The idea is to ensure once the applicant lands on the Application Registration page, they should get a feeling that they are on the University page only and not on any third-party platform. Thus, adding a lot more credibility to the system & this also enables the applicant to seamlessly apply.

Process

First, share the subdomain on which you wish to host your enquire/application page
Once we receive the subdomain, we will share CNAME records against the received subdomain.
You have to add the provided CNAME record in the DNS server of the respective domain.
Once the CNAME changes are done, we will map the subdomain to our application.
