How to Upload Leads in Bulk?

In addition to generating leads online, Meritto CRM provides the capability to upload offline leads into the system through two primary methods: using either the Email ID or the Mobile Number. Below are the steps for both methods.

• 1. Uploading Bulk Leads with Mobile Number Only

  To upload leads using only the mobile number, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Lead Manager: Go to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

  2. Access the Bulk Upload Feature: In the top-right corner, next to the Advanced Filter, click on the "Import" option. From the dropdown, select "Bulk Offline Upload". This will direct you to the "User Guideline for Upload" page.

  3. Select Mobile as the Primary Upload Type: Choose Mobile as your primary upload type, then click Next to proceed to the "Upload File" page.

  4. Select Form and Specialization:

     • Choose the Form Name (if leads are collected based on specific courses).
     • Select a Specialization (if you want to assign all leads to a particular specialization).
     • Assign a Lead Owner (to directly allocate leads to a specific lead owner).

  5. Upload the Data:

     • Select the file you wish to upload by either dragging and dropping or manually selecting it.
     • Once the file is selected, click on "Upload Data" at the bottom right corner to proceed to the "Label Mapping" page.

  6. Map CSV Columns to Meritto Labels: On the Label Mapping page, map the CSV columns to their corresponding Meritto Labels. If a column is not needed, select "Do Not Import" from the dropdown.

  7. Start the Import: After mapping all fields, click "Start Import" to begin importing the data. The imported data will appear under 'Import Reports'. You can also verify the import by navigating to Leads Manager > Offline Upload Logs.

Upload bulk leads with email and mobile number

To upload leads using both Email ID and Mobile Number, follow these steps:

• 1. Navigate to Leads Manager:

     • Go to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

  2. Access the Bulk Upload Option:

     • At the top right corner, next to the Advanced Filter, click on the "Import" button. Select "Bulk Offline Upload" from the dropdown menu. You will be directed to the "User Guideline for Upload" page.

  3. Select the Upload Type:

     • Choose Email as the primary upload type and click Next to move to the "Upload File" page.

  4. Specify Form Details:

     • Select the appropriate Form Name (if the leads are associated with a specific course).
     • Choose the Specialization (if you want to assign all leads to a particular specialization).
     • Assign a Lead Owner (if you wish to directly allocate the leads to a specific person).

  5. Choose the Upload Type:

     • Add New Leads: Import new leads from the CSV file into Meritto CRM.
     • Add New and Update Existing Leads: Import new leads or update empty fields of existing leads in Meritto CRM with new information from the CSV file.

  6. Upload the Data:

     • You can either drag and drop the file or manually select it. Once the file is uploaded, click on "Upload Data" to proceed to the "Label Mapping" page.

  7. Map CSV Columns to Meritto Labels:

     • On the Label Mapping page, match each CSV column with the corresponding Meritto Labels. If a column should not be imported, select "Do Not Import" from the dropdown.

     Note: Ensure that each field is accurately mapped to avoid any errors during import.

  8. Start the Import Process:

     • Once the fields are mapped correctly, click "Start Import" to begin the process. The imported data will be reflected under 'Import Reports'.

     You can also verify the import by navigating to Leads Manager > Offline Upload Logs for a detailed log of the uploaded data.
