Introduction
The Lead Stage is used to segregate leads based on disposition. Lead owner marks lead disposition after calling a student and gauging their interest.
Note: By default, the lead stage of a lead is untouched.
How to Change the Lead Stage?
There are 3 ways to change the lead stage
1. Lead Manager

Navigate to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

Search for the lead you want to change the Lead Stage for.

Click on the gear () just below the action button, against each Applicant.

A few options will appear, click on the "Change Lead Stage"

Once you click on "Change Lead Stage", a pop-up box labeled "Change lead stage" will appear.

Select the required Lead stage from the drop-down. To add lead stage click on Configuring Lead Stages and Substages.

You need to mention the Lead Stage, Lead Owner's Name, and Follow-up Date along with a Note, if any.

Click on “Save”.
Note: The lead owner's Name and Note are optional and If a follow-up date is added, the user can view the same under the Follow-Up Task tab in their Dashboard.
2. Lead's Profile - First Method

Navigate to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

Search for the lead you want to change the Lead Stage for.

Click on the Registered Name.

A new tab named "Lead Details" will open.

Just below the applicant's name, you can see an "Edit" option.

Click on the edit icon, and a pop-box labeled "Change lead stage" will appear, where you need to mention the Lead Stage, Lead owner's Name, Follow up Date along with a Note, if any.

After filling in the details, click on “Save”.
Note: The lead owner's Name and Note are optional and If a follow-up date is added, the user can view the same under the Follow-Up Task tab in their Dashboard.
3. Lead's Profile - Second Method

Navigate to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

Search for the lead you want to change the lead stage for.

Click on the Registered Name.

A new tab named "Lead Details" will open.

On the top right side, the first icon will be visible "Change Lead Stage"
-
A pop-up titled "Change Lead Stage" will open.

Select the required lead owner's name, Follow-up Date along with a Note, if any.
-
After filling in the details, click on “Save”.

4. Lead Profile: Lead Details

Navigate to Leads Manager > Manage Leads.

Search for the lead you want to add a lead stage for.

Click on the Registered Name.

A new tab named "Lead Details" will open.

Go to the Lead Details and then click on the Edit button.
-
In the Lead details field, there will be “Select Lead Stage”.

After filling in the details, Click on the “Save” button.
How to Change Lead Stage in Bulk?

Navigate to Leads Manager and select Manage Leads.

Search for the leads whose lead stage needs to be changed by using relevant filters. Click here to learn about How to access Advanced Filters.

Select the leads by selecting the checkbox present to the left of the column beside each Applicant's Registered Name.
Note: If the lead stage of all the leads needs to be changed, you can select them by clicking on the checkbox beside the Registered Name.

Click the Action drop-down present above the leads table and select Change Lead Stage. A pop-up will open.

Select the required lead stage from the drop-down present within the pop-up.

Click Save to update the lead stages.
