Soon, Follow-up will transform into Calendar Pro which will empower you to create and schedule events for everything that matters most to you. From creating tailored event forms for various activities to scheduling events without worrying about the lead's Timezone, and from getting email notifications when you assign an event, to managing it all for better prioritization and organization, you will be able to do it all.

Overview
You can create different types of event forms according to the requirements of your business. These events will be time-bound and can be added against Lead, Opportunity, and Applications. These events could be a simple “Follow-up” with a lead for nurturing or could be specific to any “Fees Paid” follow-up against any opportunity.
This will give you the flexibility to create your form, configure your required fields, and define their access at the module and user level.
Pre-Requisite
- You must have the access to create and configure your event form
- To add an event against lead, application, and opportunity you need to have access to the respective module with permission to add an event
Note: The current functionality of Follow-up in the CRM will be replaced with Calendar Pro - Events, in which Follow-up will be a default form for every user to use.
Features

- Enrollment Follow-up: Schedule an event with prospective students to ensure they have all the information they need to complete their enrollment process.
- Document Submission Reminders: Create events to remind applicants to submit necessary documents before deadlines.
- Fee Payment Reminders: Create events to remind students about upcoming fee payment deadlines.
- Class Feedback: Schedule a call to understand student’s feedback on the class they have taken.
How to Create an Event?
Once you have the necessary permissions, you will be able to see the option of event config under the Calendar Pro menu. clicking on which you will be redirected to a page where you can see, previously created event forms and can create and configure new events.
Step 1
- Click on Create, and a 2-step process will pop up for you to configure
- In the first step, you can add the title of the event and configure other features available.

Applicable For | You can select the module for which you want to enable this specific event. The specific event will only be available in selected modules i.e. Lead, Application, and Opportunity. |
Default Duration of the Event |
Default duration can be set according to that start date time & end date time will be populated. This can be overwritten while adding an event. |
Check conflict |
If enabled, will not allow multiple events at the same date and time for an event owner. |
Open completed event |
You can open the completed event for the specific event where it's enabled. |
Send an invite to the organizer |
If enabled, you can send an email to the organizer of the event with the necessary event details. |
Send an invite to the owner |
If enabled, you can send an email to the owner of the event with the necessary event details. |
Step 2
- In the second step, you can see the system-created fields and can also create your own fields as per your need in that particular event form.
- You can only edit the description and priority from the list of system-created fields.
- As per your case, you can always create new fields.
- Any fields created in an event form can be used in any other event-form to reduce redundancy and repetitive efforts while creating the event.
- Clicking on Publish will create the event.
- You can enable the event from the listing page.
Manage Fields
- You can always view the fields tab with the necessary permissions.
- You can see all the fields of each event in one place so that you can configure their common properties from the same page.
Adding Events from the Module
- Once you have created an event you can permit the specific events in your user's permission template.
- Users who have permission can now see the option of "Add Event" against lead, application & opportunity.
- clicking on add event will open a pop-up where they can create an event with the lead by filling out the necessary information.
View all your Events in One Place
You can now access the Events from the menu under Calendar Pro. You can view all your assigned events, filter the details, edit details, and download the events from the same page.
How is Follow-up now a Part of Events?
- Earlier we used to add follow-up on the lead, now follow-up is one of the events within Calendar Pro.
- Users now have to filter events on Lead Manager, Application Manager, and Opportunity instead of followup filters.
- Users can see Events & Notes have taken the place of profile instead of Followup & Events.
- Users could access all their follow-ups from the User dashboard > Followup take. Now they can access the same from the new menu called Events under Calendar Pro.
