Introduction
You can now make use of Inbound calls to create New Opportunity for a lead, making it more convenient for you to handle and nurture opportunities. This guide will help you to use this feature seamlessly.
Use Case
Currently, let us suppose for a client, the Lead owner receives an inbound call from a lead. The lead owner while conversing with the lead finds that he or she is interested in different courses. Using the inbound Call Opportunity feature, the lead owner can seamlessly create an opportunity, helping in further lead nurturing.
How Does it Work?
- Ensure that the Opportunity module and Telephony are enabled for the institution.
- Also, ensure that the specific Telephony permissions and Opportunity module permissions & access are allotted to different users as per requirements.
- Telephony Inbound calling should be configured properly for the concerned users.
- Lastly, enable Lead and Opportunity Call Popup permission under Inbound Call config in Telephony as per user requirements.
- Log in to the Meritto portal using the user credentials as provided.
- As soon as an Inbound call is received, a Lead Call Notification Popup on the screen appears.
- Select the relevant lead as shown and simultaneously, in Opportunity Call Popup, the relevant opportunity (if it exists) associated with that lead will also appear. (Follow screenshot).
- Selecting or clicking on the Opportunity will show the relevant opportunity details associated with it.
- If the user wants to add a new opportunity against that lead, then click on the “Create” button as shown.
- A new Pop-up opens up where the user will be required to select the specific Opportunity from the dropdown list as shown.
- After selection, fill in the required info against the opportunity fields and click on the Add button to save and create the Opportunity.
- A success message appears and the screen automatically navigates to the Opportunity profile that lists out all the details of the user.
- The timelines are updated with the relevant Inbound call timestamp and Opportunity created for the lead.
Note:
- Users will get the option to create opportunities in the opportunity list as per permission-based.
- If an Opportunity is created by a user with the help of an Inbound Call Pop-Up, then an opportunity will be assigned automatically to the user.
- While selecting the Opportunity from the dropdown list, only the “Active” opportunity will be shown in the list.
