Check-In/Check-Out

An Introduction

The Check-in/Check-out feature will enable you to optimize your counselling team's and leads performance. This feature will help you in allocating leads, applications or opportunities based on the user's availability.

Pre-requisites for Enabling Configuration

As a precursor, you should have access to the "Check-in / Check-out" feature. Once this feature is enabled, you will be able to view the "Check in/Check out configuration" option on the Settings page under Account Setup. To validate the same, follow the below steps:

1. Login to your Meritto Account
2. Click on the 'Settings' icon on the right-hand side header
3. Select the Account Setup configuration tab
4. On this page, you will see the "Check-In / Check-Out" tab

How to Configure Manual Check-In / Check-Out?

Once you have access to the Check-In/Check-Out feature, you can enable this feature with the toggle. On taking this action, this feature gets enabled for your account and you will be able to view more options below which will include :

Selecting the permission group or teams: Selecting one of the radio buttons here would mean that you would like to enable the Check-in/Check-out feature for users who are associated with the respective permission group or team. While you select:

Permission Group:

• You can choose one or more permission group
• While you select 3 permission groups, all the users (say 15) will get added to the include list i.e. for these users, the Check-in/Check-out feature will be enabled
• If you do not want to enable this feature for a few users (say 3) who are part of the above-selected permission groups, you can click on those 3 user names in the include user list below. On clicking these users, the listing will move to the exclude user list and hence the check-in/check-out feature will not be enabled

Teams: 

• You can select one or more teams
• If a user is part of multiple teams, the unique name will appear in the listing (irrespective of the team name) 
• While you select 3 teams, all the users (say 25) will get added to the include list i.e. for these users, the check-in/check-out feature will be enabled
• If you do not want to enable this feature for a few users (say 3 team managers) who are part of the above selected teams, you can simply click on those 3 user names in the include user list below. On clicking these users listing will move to exclude user list and hence check-in/check-out feature will not be enabled

How will the User Check-in and Check-out?

Once the configuration is enabled, if Check-in/Check-out is enabled for a user, then while the user signs in Meritto, the user will immediately be able to view the Check-in/Check-out widget with a timer on it and the Check-in button.

Note:

• Once the user clicks on the Check-In button, the user status will change to Available and the timer against the user will start.
• The user will also be able to view "IN/OUT" on the top header.
• If the user is available, then the user will be able to view "IN" in green; if the user is unavailable, the user will be able to see "OUT" in red. This button will be visible on all pages
• To check the logged-in time, the user can click the "IN" or "OUT" button on the header to re-open the same widget.

• To check out, the user will have to reopen the widget, click "Check-Out," and then sign out separately from Meritto.

How to Configure Auto Check-In?

Once you can access the Auto Check-In feature, you can activate it using the toggle switch. Enabling this feature will apply to your account. With Auto Check-In, you are automatically checked into the system when you log into your account. To check out, you must use the widget provided. While you are checked in through Auto Check-In, leads will be assigned to you continuously until you manually check out.

How will the Lead Distribution work?

Once the Check-in/Check-out feature is enabled for the users, leads/applications/opportunities can be assigned based on the availability of the user i.e. if the user is available(checked-in) then only the leads/applications/opportunities will be assigned to the respective user.
