Introduction
This article covers three key features of the Meritto mobile app: Navigation, Settings, and Swipe Actions. These elements are crucial for users to navigate the app effectively, adjust preferences, and quickly perform actions with a swipe. Understanding these features enhances users' ability to utilize Meritto's mobile platform efficiently.
Navigation
The concept of menu has been changed from hamburger menu to bottom navigation to enhance the user experience and making navigation easy and quick.
- Hamburger menu has been removed from the android app and instead bottom navigation has been introduced.
- This bottom navigation page will be visible on all the listing pages.
- In this bottom navigation, there are 3 menu items; a) Lead Manager b) My Workspace c) More
- These will be static menu items which means they will be visible even if the user doesn't have the permission of these modules. Let's say the user doesn't have the permission of "Lead Manager", he will still be able to see the "Leads" menu in the bottom navigation but when he will click on it, no data will be visible and instead he will get a "Permission Denied" message.
- If the user clicks on "More" from the bottom navigation then the slider menu will open up from the left side of the app.
- On the top left corner of this menu page, User's profile photo, name, email and associated account information will be displayed. On clicking this card, the user will be redirected to the "My Account" page, wherein he will be able to see 2 tabs; a) My Profile b) My Account
- On clicking the "My Profile" tab, the user will be redirected to his profile page wherein he can make changes to his "user information".
- If the user has access to multiple accounts then the "My account" tab will be clickable and the user will be able to change his account from there.
- On the top right corner of the page, "Settings", "Notifications" and "Scan QR" icons will come.
- Below the account card, "Check-in/Check-out" button will come given that the user has the permission of the same.
- After this, the module list will be displayed. Here, only those modules will come of which the user has access to.
- On the bottom of this menu page, "Feedback", "Help" and "Rate our App" buttons will come. Functionality of these buttons will work in the same way as it does now.
Settings
- Settings have now been distinguished into two types: a) Account Settings b) User Settings.
- Account level settings are those which are account dependent like "Set default page" as this requires the permission of the modules whereas the user level settings are those which are user dependent and will remain the same across accounts like "Reset Password".
- Earlier, if the user had configured a setting then every time he logged into the app from a different device he was required to do that setting again. This has been changed in the settings revamp. Now the account level settings once configured will remain stored even if the user logs in from a different device.
Swipe Actions
Have you ever wished for a quicker, more intuitive way to certain actions on a lead, application or on an opportunity. Well, your wait is over! With Swipe Actions, you can now perform actions effortlessly, just by swiping right or left on the lead/application/opportunity card.
How Does It Work?
- A setting by the name of "Swipe Actions" has been introduced in the account level settings of the mobile app.
- On clicking this, the user will be taken to the "Swipe Actions' Settings" page. Here, three toggle options will be visible, a) Lead Manager b) Application Manager c) Opportunity Manager given that the user has the permission of these modules.
- By default the toggle will be on for all the modules.
- Once the user clicks on configure, a pop-up will appear with the list of actions that the user can chose from to configure on the right or left swipe. This list of actions will be dependent on the permissions that the user has.
- If the user configures an action on the right or left swipe for "Leads" then when the user will go to the "Leads" page, he will be able to perform that action by just right or left swiping the card.
