Introduction
The Show “Other Opportunity” feature allows users to view additional opportunities associated with a particular user, providing a comprehensive overview of their activity within the system.
Use Cases
- Tracking Opportunities: Easily keep track of all opportunities associated with a specific user.
- Cross-Referencing Profiles: Navigate to other Opportunity profiles directly from the “Other Opportunity” tab of an Opportunity profile.
- Access Management: Ensure that users only see the opportunities they have permission to view.
Pre-requisites
- The “Show Other Opportunities” permission should be enabled at the account level. If this permission is not available then the tab will not be visible on the Opportunity Profile.
- The “Opportunity List Access” should be there to view the opportunity list where opportunities are created.
How Does it Work?
- The "Other Opportunity" tab appears in the opportunity profile, displaying a list of opportunities associated with the user.
- Clicking on the user's name in this list redirects you to their respective opportunity profile.
- Users are only presented with opportunities they have permission to access.
- Clicking on the redirect link takes the user to the Lead Profile, In the Opportunity tab of the lead profile, all the associated opportunities are displayed.
