We have introduced a new feature called Air Alert to give the user an experience of a call pop-up every time he/she is either getting an incoming call or is making an outbound call. This feature will work even if in-app calling and telephony calling is not enabled for an entity.
How does this work?
Whenever a user receives an incoming call or makes an outbound call, he/she will get an alert (in a Push Notification Style; we call it “Air Alert”) on his phone which will display the lead information along with 2 action buttons.
One of the biggest benefits of introducing this feature is to avoid the hassle of enabling “Display Popup over other Apps” device permission that is required in case of Popup. Air Alert is independent of that permission.
The user simply has to enable the Air Alert toggle by allowing some calling permissions only.
The notification will only go away if a user takes an action on it.
If the call is coming from a new lead or if a call is being done to a new lead, then the two action buttons will be: a) Add Lead b) Dismiss
If the call is coming from an existing lead or if a call is being done to an existing lead and is assigned to that particular counselor then the action buttons will be: a) View Profile b) Dismiss
If the call is coming from an existing lead and is not accessible to that particular counselor or if a call is being done to an existing lead which is not assigned to this particular counsellor then the action buttons will be: a) Add Notes b) Dismiss
How to Enable it?
Login in to the Mobile App > Go to Settings > Enable “Show Air Alerts for Calling”
Note: If both Popup and Air Alerts are On, only one of them will work.
