Link Branding- An Introduction
In email communications, all click-tracked links in any of your email templates, get converted into a link having a SendGrid domain, e.g., https://demouniversity.co.in/ will become something like- https://u18363213.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=q0uzTZByGDVBUhpPtizSV5EdD. Spam filters and recipient servers (like Gmail, Outlook, Rediff Mail, or other mail clients) look at the links within emails to determine whether the email seems trustworthy enough to deliver - they use the reputation of the root domain to determine whether the links can be trusted.
Importance of Link Branding
Implementing link branding helps in email deliverability because you no longer rely on click tracking going through a domain you do not control, and its reputation no longer affects the deliverability of your emails.
