Collexo's data import feature lets you import data - “Applicant records” without duplicates. Importing is simple and easy, and takes just a few moments. Upload your CSV, XLS or XLSX file and collect fees according to the uploaded Applicant records.
What you can do with Bulk Import?
New Records - You can import new records in the Collexo
Overwrite records - You can overwrite the existing records with the new data points
How it works?
Step 1: Upload your file
Go to Applicant Records >> Click on Add Applicant >> Select Bulk Upload
Step 2: Select File and upload type
In the upload overlay, click "Upload file" and select the file that you intend to import. Collexo supports Excel (.xls and .xlsx) and .csv files.
You need to choose the action i.e. Add new records and Overwrite existing records along with the session in which you want to upload the records.
Step 3: Field Mapping
In order to import your data to Collexo correctly, you will need to map each column in your spreadsheet with the relevant (created) Collexo fields.
The auto-recognition feature will automatically match the column header to the fields in Collexo (i.e. when the column name matches exactly with the Collexo field name), but if any of the fields were not recognized, you will need to select from the Collexo field dropdown and have map manually.
Note: mapped column will be highlighted separately in the overlay.
Step 4: Upload Logs
After your import is completed, you will receive an email update or you can check the upload status in the “Upload Log” section
